This group is aimed at complete beginners, where no prior musical experience is needed, and it offers ongoing tuition to those who have completed the beginners introduction and elect to stay with the group for ongoing improvement
Complete beginners may join at any time and will be offered a series of sessions on a one to one basis to cover the basics (scheduled at times to suit the individual). After this time, normally 3 to 4 sessions, beginners will join the rest of the Monday group.
Experienced players are welcome to attend, but they may have to accept some interruption in playing whilst tuition is given to less experienced players.
Players also have the option of attending the Wednesday Ukulele group (Uke3A) that meets on Wednesday afternoons.
Also the Wednesday group members are welcome to come along to the Monday sessions.
The group will use the songbooks that have been prepared by the Wednesday group. These are available online or can be purchased as printed copies.
