Thirteen people joined walk leaders Barbara and Roger Thompson on a bright and pleasant day on Wenlock Edge. They followed a (7-mile) route that first headed southeast along the Edge and then turned south into Hope Dale. It passed through a location labelled 'Little London' on the map - where there was not a single building - very strange. Breaks for morning coffee and lunch were taken on hillsides with (different) beautiful views.
Towards the latter part of the walk the group met a lady farmer who was tending her flock of 60 special 'show' sheep. She had just finished shearing some of them.
The route was challenging with several ascents and people were very grateful to Roger who had previously cleared some paces of brambles and obstructions.
