Twelve people joined leaders Sheena and Paul Taylor on a glorious autumn day at the start of the walk in Bridges - nestled between the Long Mynd and Stiperstones. The route took the group over the summit of Adstone Hill and then on to the small village of Wentnor - which overlooks the Onny Valley to the south. Conditions were ideal and, during the initial climb, people were soon removing layers of clothing - only to replace them whenever the cold wind appeared. The walk was notable for the fact that two stalwart members of the u3a Walking for All group - Magdalene and Carol - took part, following long absences.
