Christina grew up in London and has lived in Wiltshire, Northumberland, Singapore, Merseyside and finally Shropshire, where she has lived for 30 years.

Having had 10 jobs as a speech and language therapist, the final one at Princess Royal Hospital, her specialisms were communication and voice. She was also a magistrate for 20 years.

After retirement she discovered the u3a and now runs the Play Reading Group, is a member of the Music Appreciation group and also a committee member.

Christina has many years of amateur drama experience and directed and acted in the Condover Players.  Apart from the u3a, Christina is in the National Women's Register, runs a Tuesday morning tennis group and is on the Retired Magistrates committee.

When not dashing about doing these things,she enjoys walking her dog. She has travelled extensively, including going overland to India in a bus at 21
