Getting experience in speaking Spanish isn't always easy. This group is for getting practice in using the words, understanding what others are saying, and trying to get ourselves understood by them - with low stress and good fun.

We welcome members with basic Spanish and beyond. Experts can enjoy it too, since even they might not get enough speaking practice, and may enjoy the challenge of helping others if they get stuck - (in Spanish of course). We’re not doing a course of study, so we can jump around a bit, and do what we feel like doing ... so people can join at any time.

We use entertaining bilingual stories for beginners and intermediates. We do something similar with phrase books, and with other familiarisation materials.
We're experimenting with a 'communicate in Spanish' group on WhatsApp.

Of course, we also chat about the materials and other things as we go along (in Spanish, when we're not naughtily slipping into English).
