Neil is the Beacon Administrator and Web Manager for our u3a.. He led the project to migrate from the old web site to the new feature-rich SiteWorks site. He has enjoyed the challenge of learning a new product (SiteWorks) from scratch. He is keen to see the new web site continuously improved.

A Systems Engineer, specialising in Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Digital Equipment Corporation Mini-Computers, he thought retiring would be the end of his IT involvement. Oh well...

Previously Neil served on our u3a committee as communications officer, vice chairman, acting secretary and completed the full term of three years as Chairman.

He was leader of the Uke3A ukulele group for over ten years and is currently leader of the Melodic Ukulele group. He is glad to report that playing the ukulele requires no IT skills!
