Eleven people joined walk leader Andy Jackson for an early (9.00 am) start near the Smokey Cow pub in Beckbury. The weather was warm and underfoot conditions were, mostly, good. The highlight of the walk was a section passing through Badger Dingle with the route shaded by trees and which offered a delightful lunch stop next to the stream. A couple of obstructions were navigated with care - where trees had blown down across the path.

Another highlight, towards the end of the walk, were the fields of David Austen roses
