Cound Guildhall hosted a special Birthday party for Mavis, who is 92. She asked for us to play some songs which she personally selected from our repertoire. It must be said we were rather cramped together, but nonetheless we soldiered on. Mavis and the audience enjoyed our performance. We got a glass of prosecco and some of us managed to snag a sandwich or two.
