David and Lesley led the walk with 12 people, which took in woodland paths and sites of interest. These included the Broseley Chapel of Rest where there is a model of the New Willey Furnace built by John Wilkinson and the church. We skirted Broseley and took in some of the jittys before lunch then followed Balls Lane to the disused railway line and back along to Maws.
The weather was dry and warm and the colours of the autumn leaves were very beautiful. Bob Van Mook has noted that David and Lesley set two new records:
1. The most boring spot for lunch
2. The most people lost - 5!
